Voice actor idol unit i☆Ris held a press conference in Tokyo on the 7th in preparation for their 13th anniversary live show, "i☆Ris 13th Anniversary Live -TITLE MATCH-," which will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on November 15th. The title of the live show is meant to convey the idea that fans will "participate" in the live show, as well as the battle between fans and i☆Ris. Leader Yamakita Saki struck a fighting pose and called out to fans, "We're going all out too. We're fully prepared to fight, so we hope you all will give it your all and make it a success."
Yuki Wakai said, "There will be a time when we can take photos this time, so I hope everyone will take some cute ones. The venue is large, but you should be able to get surprisingly close."Yu Serizawa said, "There will be a time when we will get close to you all. Please come dressed as bright blue as possible (your member color). I hope it will make it easy to find you." Kubota said, "I hope you will win the response."
When the topic turned to "feelings for the 'battle'," Serizawa said, "It's for myself. I don't want to lose to anyone," to which Yamakita responded, "I want to cooperate where I can." Wakai said, "I've worked hard, putting my life on the line for i☆Ris. I will surpass all the live shows we've had so far," and Akaneya enthusiastically said, "I've been involved with i☆Ris with people in their teens to thirties who want to fight with their youth on the line, and up until now it's been their youth. I want you to feel the youth that I felt. I want to fight alongside you."
While Kubota coolly stated, "I'm not putting anything on the line. It's just my job," Yamakita showed his fighting spirit by saying, "I can't believe it! I'll put my life on the line and take on this challenge!"
Finally, Yamakita said, "I was scared. Last year, I felt like we had given it our all. If this live performance is a success, I think it will be amazing, to the point that it will change i☆Ris' lives. It may be our 13th year, but I think we're doing new things. I've never seen the members so actively sharing their opinions in these 13 years. I think it will be a live performance full of energy, so I hope everyone will come and change their lives." She expressed her passion for the live performance.
At the press conference, it was revealed that as a special gift for attendees of the concert, collaboration postcards for the TV anime "The Ghost of Sorrow Wants to Retire" and the movie version of the Aikatsu! x PriPara collaboration, "Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!-" would be distributed. It was also announced that i☆Ris' 26th single, "Yume e no Hitokakera," which will be released on November 19th, will be available for pre-order on November 10th, and its coupling track, "Romantic Showdown," on November 12th.
