Actor Mana Ashida will appear in the NHK program "Exploring Alice's Wonderland with Mana Ashida," which will be broadcast on NHK BS from 9:00 pm on November 8th. The travel program follows Ashida to England, visiting places associated with Lewis Carroll, the author of the classic "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," and also shows her true, intellectually curious side.
Ashida, who still rereads Lewis Carroll's classic "Alice in Wonderland" even now as an adult, travels to England, the birthplace of the story.
By tracing the places associated with author and mathematician Lewis Carroll and his handwritten letters, it becomes clear that this absurd story is filled with a loving message addressed to a real girl and a profound worldview.
During the program, Ashida will read the story of "Alice in Wonderland." In addition, the program will feature Ashida's true nature, full of intellectual curiosity, as she hits it off with the participants at an "Alice's Tea Party," a gathering of Alice fans.
