"A House Alone" (ABC TV/TV Asahi, Sundays 7:54 PM) is a variety show that uses satellite photos to find a remote house. On the Getsuku broadcast, the show will visit a house that was introduced to them by Chef Christophe (44) of a French auberge that they previously visited (broadcast on October 5th). The guests are actors Midoriko Kimura and Shinji Takeda.
The search team heard from Christophe that "the escargot farm we purchase from is located in the middle of the mountains." When they asked, "Can we come with you?" Christophe immediately replied, "OK! Let's go!" On the day of the purchase, they got in Christophe's car and headed to the escargot farm.
It's about 30 kilometers from Christophe's auberge to the escargot farm. After crossing a steep cliff path lined with endless purple rock faces, a sight unseen in Japan, we arrived at the shores of a lake. There, we were greeted by Vincent (60) and his wife Emmanuelle (58). The property, which overlooks the mountains and includes a beautiful lake, covers an area of four hectares. They apparently farm 65,000 escargots in the greenhouses used for agriculture.
In fact, the couple emigrated from Belgium to France. About 14 years ago, they came across the perfect property and decided to move. However, an unexpected problem prevented them from purchasing the house... This is the story of the bond between the couple who overcame the depths of despair, and the story of their move to an isolated house across the border.
Kimura, a guest watching the video in the studio, was moved and said, "It's like a dream. It's truly the power of love."
