It has been announced that the film version of Chainsaw Man , based on the popular manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto , Chainsaw Man Man, will collaborate with the popular cat mascot character mofusand. Four collaboration illustrations have been released, including Beam-nyan, a cat dressed in Chainsaw Man's Beam mascot costume, as well as Chainsaw-nyan, Pochita-nyan, and Bomb-nyan. Original wallpapers and icons using these illustrations will be available for free on the official website for four days only, from October 31st to November 3rd.
The official Chainsaw Man TikTok account has released a new camera effect for Denji called "KAWAII DENJI - IRIS OUT." The effect is inspired by the scene in the series where Denji goes on a date with Makima, exclaiming "So kawaii!" at the sight of her in casual clothes. The effect appears set to the rhythm of the theme song "IRIS OUT" by Kenshi Yonezu.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action story that follows Denji, a boy possessed by a demon, as he works as a devil hunter. Part 1 was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from December 2018 to December 2020. Part 2 has been serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +" since July 2022. The total number of copies of the comics published has exceeded 30 million.
The "Reze" arc, which also appeared at the end of the TV anime series that aired from October to December 2022, tells the story of Reze and the main character, Denji, who became a hot topic. While Denji is excited about a date with his crush, Makima, he takes shelter from the rain and meets Reze, a young girl who works at a cafe. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, who served as the action director for the TV anime, and produced by MAPPA.
