Former Hinatazaka46 member and actress Kyoko Saito walked the red carpet at the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), which opened in Tokyo on October 27th.
Saito, who stars in the film "Love Trial" (directed by Fukada Koji), which will be released on January 23rd, appeared in a bold white halter neck dress with a see-through material at the chest. Her beautiful legs were visible through the dress' slit.
The film "Love Trial" was inspired by a newspaper article by director Fukada about a former female idol ordered to pay compensation, and took 10 years to produce. Based on the theme of the "Renai Kinshi rule" that is whispered about as fact in the Japanese idol world, the film depicts a popular female idol who is sued by her agency for breach of contract, leading to a lawsuit.
The film is being shown in the Gala Selection section at the Tokyo International Film Festival, which runs until November 5th in the Hibiya, Yurakucho, Marunouchi and Ginza districts.
