The second episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 24" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9 PM), "Atone for your sins by dying - The skeleton speaks! Ukyo's ingenious plan," will be broadcast on October 22nd with an extended 15 minutes. This is the second part of the first episode, "Atone for your sins by dying - Suspected murder? The darkness of a living national treasure."
Ukyo (Mizutani Yutaka) discovers a long-standing human skeleton in the barn of the home of the Living National Treasure storyteller Takizawa Seiryu (Kataoka Tsurutaro). He reports the incident to the First Investigation Division, who question Seiryu, his wife Misako (Achiha Satomi), and his apprentice Goryu (Takaya Aoyagi).
Wu Long begins to explain what happened, saying, "I'll tell you everything." Afterwards, Qing Long's daughter, Qing Ran (played by Shuhama Harumi), is also questioned, but no one shows any remorse.
Miwako (Suzuki Sawa), a journalist and wife of Kaoru (Terawaki Yasufumi), interviews the Takizawa family together with her old friend, journalist Keiko Nonomiya (Hosokawa Naomi), and urges the media to report on the connection between the case of Tanoi (Sugawara Takuma), who is on death row, and the discovery of the skeleton.
The entire situation is being closely watched by the Prosecutor General, Oka Utako (Yo Kimiko). Meanwhile, Ukyo, feeling that Goryu's "confession" is not credible, sets up a trap for Seiryu and the others.
The Special Investigation Unit uncovers the truth from a skeleton. Behind the scenes, the dark power of the state lurks. The screenplay is by Yasuhiro Koshimizu and the director is Hajime Hashimoto.
