The NHK morning information program " Asaichi " (General TV, Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM), Caster by the comedy duo "Hakata Hanamaru & Daikichi" and announcer Suzuki Naoko, will air "Premium Talk: Simultaneous Interpreter Tanaka Keiko" on October 17th.
On the same day, Tanaka Keiko, one of Japan's top simultaneous interpreters, will be making an appearance. Tanaka has previously handled simultaneous interpretation for Microsoft's Bill Gates, singer Taylor Swift, and former soccer player David Becca. She will talk about the hilarious behind-the-scenes story of her interpreting. She will look back on the appeal of Tanaka's translations, which everyone praises for "conveying feelings," and her days as a school dropout, searching for a life "somewhere other than here." She will also introduce "English phrases that will give you a gentle nudge" that she wants to share with you now.
In the "Special Selection! Entertainment" corner, they will introduce their recommended movies. In "Everybody's Green!", Laurent Bonisch will be the instructor and they will try their hand at "arranging autumn roses."
