The 14th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on October 16th, and viewers' attention was drawn to Sannojo ( Keiko Kitagawa Rikito), who overheard a conversation between Den ( Shinichi Tsutsumi ) and Tae ( Rihito Itagaki) and discovered the secret of Toki's (Takaishi) birth.
In episode 14, Toki has been caring for Den for three weeks, but Den's condition has not improved. Den worries about the state of the factory, but Toki replies that everything is going well. One day, Toki is injured while making dinner to look after her sick mother. Tae rushes over and offers to make dinner in Toki's place. Toki teaches Tae, who has never cooked before, how to make dinner, and they end up making clam soup.
That night, Tae talks with Den, who is in bed, about Toki. Den happily recounts how Toki had given him porridge, and says, "That was a close call. I'm sorry." Tae mutters, "Me too. When I gave that child to the Matsuno family, I swore I'd never let her see her mother's face again..." Den confides, "I hope that one day we can act like parent and child," and Tae reassures him, "You'll live a long life."
Sannojo was outside, eavesdropping on their conversation. Sannojo stood there in a daze, shaken and stunned, before dejectedly leaving the place.
