The 12th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), in which Akari Takaishi plays the heroine, was broadcast on October 14th, and an uneasy atmosphere hung over the Ushimizu family, relatives of Toki (Takaishi), causing screams from viewers.
In episode 12, the weaving factory where Toki works is facing financial difficulties due to the economic downturn. The company president and relative, Den Ushimizu(Shinichi Tsutsumi), sets out to raise funds, while the Ushimizu family's third son, Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki), takes over as acting president. Sannojo is confused when Den speaks to him for the first time in a long time. Having been left alone for so long, Sannojo does not know what to do and can only stand there.
Meanwhile, the Ushimizu family is unable to pay their maids their wages and lays them off, causing anxiety among the female workers, including Toki, Chiyo (played by Anna Kurasawa), and Sen (played by Kino Adachi). One day, Den, who was busy raising funds, suddenly collapses.
Worried, Toki visits the Ushimizu household, where she finds Tae (Keiko Kitagawa) burning the rice while trying to make porridge. Sannojo tells Toki that Tae was the first to open the sliding door by herself after the maid had left. When Toki says, "Auntie, I can't take care of you,"Sannojo shouts, "Then what should I do? What should I do...? Don't push everything onto me!" and leaves the room.
