The second season of the TV anime " Assassination Classroom ," based on the popular manga by Yusei Matsui , will begin airing on Fuji TV and other channels on October 2nd. Ahead of the broadcast, the creditless opening and closing videos have been released on YouTube. The opening video features the song "ENDER" by the dance and vocal group "GENIC," and has a cool atmosphere with a rough texture like film film. The ending video features the song "Infinity karat" by Nanami Urara, and shows Class 3-E and all of their teachers creating blackboard art.
As part of the series' 10th anniversary project, all 47 episodes of the TV anime have been rebroadcast since April on Fuji TV and other networks. Following the start of the second season's rebroadcast, a quiz project titled "#Korosensei's Surprise Test" will be launched on the anime's official account (@ansatsu_anime). Questions will be posted before each episode airs, and if you post your answers with the designated hashtag, 10 people will be entered into a lottery each week to win a special sticker.
" Assassination Classroom" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from July 2012 to March 2016. The story revolves around Korosensei, a mysterious creature who evaporated 70% of the moon, becoming the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School, a school full of dropouts, and the students attempting to assassinate him.
The TV anime aired from January to June 2015 and January to June 2016, and the film "Assassination Classroom: 365 Days of Time," a compilation of the TV anime and new original episodes, was released in 2016. The spin-off, "Korosensei Q (Quest)!", was also made into an anime. A live-action film starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Ryosuke Yamada was also released.
As part of the anime's 10th anniversary project, a completely new movie version, "Assassination Classroom: Everybody's Time," is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026, and is also attracting attention. The new movie version will feature completely new anime adaptations of episodes that have never been filmed before.
