" Bakebake" is the 113th morning Asadora. Based on the life of Yakumo Koizumi(Lafcadio Hearn) and his wife Setsu, the story follows the heroine, who loves ghost stories, as she lives her ordinary, everyday life with her foreign husband. The story is not based on an original novel, but is an original work by screenwriter Mitsuhiko Fujiki, who has worked on NHK's drama "Asagaya Sisters' Relaxed Life" and WOWOW's "Shooting Break Series."
The first episode is set in the early Meiji period. Elementary school student Toki (Miharu Fukuchi) lives a poor life with his father, Tsukasanosuke(Takashi Okabe), his mother, Fumi (Chizuru Ikewaki), and his grandfather, Kan'emon (Fumiyo Kohinata), resenting the world. Tsukasanosuke makes a big decision to give Toki a good life. Scene cuts have also been released.
