The special program "Bakarhythm & Kazulaser's Nippon! Hisokani Kassen" will be broadcast on TV Asahi from 10:15 PM on September 28th. The program will cover the "secret battles" that take place every day across Japan, with Bakarhythm and Kazulaser serving as MCs, and Daisuke Miyagawa, Miki Fujimoto, Mai Shiraishi, and Shuto Inomata of "timelesz" appearing in the studio as witnesses to the battles.
The first event to be witnessed is "A battle to get a photo of a reluctant child smiling." Photographer "Taka-chan" Matsumura appears, who uses his incredible techniques to turn crying children into smiling ones during the reluctant twos. Taka-chan's humorous communication with a child who won't even tell him his name and his efforts to use toys get the studio excited, with everyone saying, "Even adults can't help but laugh!"
There will also be a battle at a nursery school, "Nursery Teachers vs. Energetic Children." Nursery teachers struggle to get over 40 energetic children to sleep. In the studio, Bakarhythm, who announced the birth of his first child, a boy, in 2023, will talk about the difficulties he faces in getting his child to sleep.
The program will also feature footage from the Aomori Prefecture National Yuru-chara Sumo Tournament, where mascot characters compete in sumo. The mascot characters put their respective physiques to good use in the heated battle. In the studio, the cast members try to predict who will win, but the outcome takes an unexpected turn.
Bakarhythm commented, "At first I was a little confused by the concept of a 'battle,' but once it started I thought it was a really good fight. The highlight was the sumo. Everyone was pretty excited." Kazulaser said, "It's a very easy-to-understand program. You can enjoy it even if you start watching halfway through. I hope you'll watch it from the beginning. The mascot sumo turns into regular sumo at the end. It's literally like shedding a layer."
Inomata reflected on the recording, saying, "It was amazing, with some interesting footage that made my palms sweat and made me wonder what would happen from that angle. It was fun watching the video together while making predictions, and it was good to see how everyone is secretly fighting in all sorts of places."
Shiraishi was impressed, saying, "I didn't know about Taka-chan or the battle of the mascot characters, so I'd like to keep an eye on them next year. I think it must be hard for nursery school teachers to get so many children to sleep, so I think it's an amazing job. I respect that."
