A screening event commemorating the second anniversary of the broadcast of the TV anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, " based on the manga currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan), was held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on September 26th, with appearances by Atsumi Tanezaki , who plays Frieren , Kana Ichinose , who plays Fern , and Chiaki Kobayashi , who plays Stark . Kobayashi commented, "If you read the original work, you may find that there are more scenes that make you think, 'So this is the kind of brilliance it is.'" Ichinose said, "Personally, when I read the original work, the film is packed with scenes that I wanted to see on screen."
Tanezaki said, "We are currently working hard on the second season, and although it is fun, we are also feeling nervous while recording.
