A poster featuring the main characters from "Tron: Ares" (directed by Joachim Rønning, to be released simultaneously in Japan and the US on October 10th), the first American film in the "Tron" series in 15 years, was released on September 26th. A special video featuring comments on the music of the American rock band "Nine Inch Nails" was also released.

The American film "Tron" (1982, directed by Steven Lisberger) is known as the world's first feature-length film to fully utilize CG (computer graphics). It depicts the genius programmer Kevin Flynn, who is sent into a digital world and takes on a life-or-death game, and became a social phenomenon. 18 years later, in 2010, a sequel, "Tron: Legacy" (directed by Joseph Kosinski), was released, featuring Kevin's son Sam as the main character, and captivated many fans with its cutting-edge visuals at the time, based on a pale blue neon glow.

In the latest film, "Tron: Ares," Ares (played by Jared Leto), the most powerful humanoid AI soldier in the real world, is developed. He is the ultimate soldier, endowed with overwhelming strength and superior intelligence, but he can only "survive" in the real world for 29 minutes. In their quest for "eternity," the AI soldiers go out of control, and the digital world begins to encroach on the real world. Then, something strange happens to Ares, who learns about "humans" in the real world. Will Ares really become the savior of humanity? This is the story.

The released poster features six key characters who hold the key to the story. The characters of Encom, the company where genius programmer Eve Kim (Greta Lee) works, are all dressed in blue, evoking an impression of intelligence. The members of Dillinger, who are after Eve's "persistent code" (a code that can materialize an AI program in the real world for more than 29 minutes), are dressed in red, evoking vigilance, clearly depicting the conflict between the two companies.

The special video features powerful scenes of fast-paced Lightcycle chases and disc battles set to Nine Inch Nails' heavy digital beats, noise, and majestic melodies, and also includes comments from the staff and cast about the music.
