TV Asahi's new regular program "Nika Game" (Wednesdays at 1:58 am, excluding some areas), which will start on October 1st, will have its "Regular Just Before SP" (excluding some areas) broadcast from 11 pm on September 20th. In addition, TELASA will start distributing original content.
"Nika Game" is a program adaptation of the popular segment of the Monday primetime program "Can You Do It for 100,000 Yen?", in which Kis-My-Ft2's Takashi Nikaido, who is not good at English, plays a game that challenges him to read "super basic English" as a parody of the popular Netflix drama "Squid Game." In April of this year, Matsui Kemuri from "Reiwa Roman" and Shuto Inomata from "timelesz" joined the regular cast, and the show was broadcast on the monthly variety slot "Barabara Monthly," which caused a stir, and will become a regular program from October.
In the TELASA original content, the three will once again take on the project "Can You Stack the Blocks High?" which was well-received at the real event held in August, and games that didn't fit into the "Just Before the Regular Special" will also be revealed.
"Can you stack the blocks high?" is a game in which players must read and answer correctly the English words found around town while stacking blocks higher than the show's original character, Lacochin. Before the game started, Nikaido looked relaxed, saying, "All I have to do is surpass Lacochin, right?", and Inomata confidently said, "I think I can do it in no time!", while Matsui looked anxious. Once the game started, Matsui's bad feeling came true, and the unexpected answers continued unstoppably.
In addition to the original project, TELASA will also be streaming the "phantom question" from the popular event "What is this kanji?" for a limited time. In addition, footage from the real event will also be streamed for a limited time.
