"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a program where Higuchi Sho, the anime buyer at Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and real-life opinions from the sales floor. The number one single at the store from September 7th to 14th was "Mihakuken Atashiza," a new single by ARCANA PROJECT, an anime song vocal unit co-produced by Dear Stage and Lantis.

"ARCANA PROJECT" is based on the motif of tarot cards, with each member acting as a unique presence that symbolizes the tarot card they are assigned to. In April of this year, Shimomi Yuka and Yoshino Sakura joined the group, and the group began activities as a new six-member lineup. "Mihatsuken Atashiza," which reached number one, is the unit's 10th single, and includes three new songs themed around the tarot cards: "present, past, and future."
Coming in second place is "Always with you," the second EP released under the name "Aya Emori," by voice actress Aya Emori, known for her role as Onizuka Natsumi in the anime "Love Live! Superstar!!." Coming in third place is singer VALSHE's album "GASTRONOMY," which commemorates the 15th anniversary of her major label debut.
Coming in fourth place was THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS "Halo around" 04, the fourth release in the CD series "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS "Halo around"," based on the smartphone browser game "THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS (Shinimas)," and in fifth place was Charisma Gumbo, the third album by the character content Charisma.

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku's 7th floor (Japanese music and sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He first became interested in anime through 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "BLUE SEED," and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flames," and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially those related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!" His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm," "The Idolmaster," "Photo Kano," and "Sakura Wars."
