It has been revealed that an acrylic stand for " The Apothecary Diaries Apothecary Diaries: Maomao 's Harem Mystery Notebook," a light novel manga by Natsu Hyuga that originated on the novel submission website " Shosetsuka ni Naro ," will be included as an attachment with the serialized magazine "Sunday GX" (Shogakukan). It will be an attachment for four consecutive issues, from the October issue on sale on September 19th to the January 2026 issue on sale on December 19th.
The acrylic stands feature original illustrations by Kurata Sanro, who is in charge of the manga's illustrations. The October issue features Maomao and Jinshi, the November issue features Shisui and Xiaoran, the December issue Jinshi and Gao Shun, and the January 2026 issue features Maomao.
The light novel version of "The Apothecary Diaries" is published by Hero Bunko (Imagica Infos), and its comic book adaptations, published by Shogakukan and Square Enix, have also garnered popularity. The original series has sold over 40 million copies in total. Set in the glamorous harem of a certain continent, Maomao, a poison taster, becomes embroiled in an incident that unfolds in the harem, filled with conspiracies and rumors, alongside the handsome harem caretaker, Jinshi.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2023 to March 2024, and the second season from January to July 2024. A sequel has also been announced.
