Takumi Kitamura Mio Imada plays Yanai Takashi Yanai , the husband of the heroine Nobu (played by Imada Mio) in the Asadora drama "Anpan " (NHK General TV, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM and other times), starring Mio Imada. In episode 122 (broadcast on September 16th), a musical version of "Anpanman" is in the works, suggested by Takuya Ise(played by Motoki Omori). Kitamura has known Nishiyama Jun, who plays Furukawa Mamoru, who plays Yaruse Nakasu in the musical, since their childhood. Kitamura spoke about working with Nishiyama, saying that he felt a connection with him.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993). It tells the story of how the two met, overcame all sorts of obstacles, and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice." It is a "story of love and courage" that will fill you with the joy of living.
Looking back on the filming of "Anpan," which took about a year, Kitamura said, "Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of my acting career, but through this project I met so many different people that it felt like a bit of a reckoning."
There were many reunions with cast members with whom he had previously worked together, including Imada, who played Nobu, with whom he co-starred in the "Tokyo Revengers" series (directed by Hanabusa Tsutomu), and Satoshi Tsumabuki).
Among all of this, Kitamura spoke particularly passionately about working with Nishiyama again.
"In the musical version of 'Kaiketsu Anpanman,' the role of Yaruse Nakasu, who Taka is based on, was played by Nishiyama Jun, who is from the same agency. We appeared in the same production when I was in the fourth grade of elementary school and he was in the third grade. We had been taking acting lessons together since we were child actors, and he found time in between various productions to play the role of Yaruse Nakasu in ' Anpan.' The last time we worked together, we switched roles, so in a sense we were playing the same roles, and I felt a strong connection in playing the same person again this time."
