Yamato 3199 Sasha

It has been announced that "Hikari no Nami," a character song by Sasha played by Megumi Han , will be the ending theme song for the fourth chapter, "Sasha," of " Space Battleship Yamato Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199 ," the latest installment in the remake series of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato." The song will be available on various music platforms from September 30th. The jacket design and music video, featuring an original illustration of Sasha, have also been released.

Matsui Yohei, who wrote the lyrics, commented, "I felt that Sasha was like a wave in this story. Her swaying is the wind, the sound, and the waves that take the form of light. All of these guide the ship. I hope that this song will be remembered for a long time to come, as it depicts the toll of the Yamato's voyage."

Composer and arranger Kanematsu Shu said, "The story unfolds on an even grander scale in the fourth chapter, but we received requests for the ending song to be 'Not Too Big' and 'The World as Seen by Sasha,' so I composed it hoping to create a song that has a nostalgic feel like a lullaby, but also contains strong emotions. I think the combination of Matsui Yohei's beautiful words and Megumi Han's one-of-a-kind singing voice has resulted in a very delicate lullaby. I hope you enjoy it along with the main story."

The jacket design for the fourth volume of the Blu-ray Disc and DVD, which will be released on December 24th, has also been revealed. The design features an original illustration by Nobuteru Yuki.

"Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199" is a re-imagining of the original works "Be Forever Yamato" and "Space Battleship Yamato III," with a new interpretation added. Harutoshi Fukui will serve as general director, and will also be in charge of series composition and scriptwriting. Naomichi Yamato will serve as director. There will be a total of seven chapters, with the fourth chapter set to premiere on October 10th.
