One Punch Man TV anime season 3 starts on October 5th

It has been announced that the third season of the TV anime "One Punch Man," based on the manga currently being serialized on the web manga site "Tonari no Young Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast on TV Tokyo at 11:45 PM on October 5th. The first episode on October 5th will be a special program narrated by Ryusei Nakao, who played Vaccine Man in the first episode of the first season, entitled "Understand in One Hit! A Serious Look Back at the Second Season of the TV Anime ' One Punch Man'!"

The key visual of the hero and monster facing each other, "Strongest vs. Scariest Ver.", a commercial featuring the opening theme song "Get No Satisfied!" by JAM Project feat. BABYMETAL, and full-body illustrations of the hero and monster have also been released.

The series began as a website serialization by ONE in 2009, and since 2012, the manga illustrated by Murata Yusuke has been serialized in Tonari no Young Jump. It depicts the exploits of Saitama, a hero who has acquired invincible power and can defeat any enemy with a single punch. The series has sold over 34 million copies in total. The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2015, and the second season aired from April to July 2019. It has also been announced that it will be adapted into a live-action Hollywood movie.
