Mei revealed to Nobuko, Tasuku (Yanagiba Toshiro) and others that she was pregnant. "I've seen so many families here (at the child consultation center), and when it came to me, I wasn't confident. I wondered if I could really become a parent," she confessed.
Nobuko, who is also a mother raising a child, asked, "Mei-chan, how do you think you become a parent?" As Mei pondered, "How?", Nobuko explained, "Becoming a parent is something you do as your child grows up." Jo replied, "If your child is 0 years old, then you are also 0 years old."
The video then shows Nobuko cheering Mei on, saying, "No matter how much you study or how much you prepare, your child won't turn out the way you want them to. Every time that happens, you have to try and fail and try again. That's how you become a parent, little by little."
On social media, comments such as "Kobayashi Kinako's words really hit home," "Nobuko is absolutely right," "Nobuko says the right thing," "I really love Nobuko," and "Both Nobuko and Joe are so kind I could cry" attracted attention.
The drama is set in a seaside child consultation center and depicts Natsui Tsubasa as a new child welfare officer, dealing with various children and parents and growing together. This will be Fukuhara's first lead role in a " Getsuku" drama.
