HG Dunbine completely new plastic model re-released by Premium Bandai

The plastic model "HG 1/72 Dunbine" (Bandai Spirits), based on Dunbine from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Aura Battler Dunbine," will be re-released on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, Premium Bandai. The popular item, which first went on sale in September 2023 and "sold out," is priced at 3,850 yen.

Dunbine has been recreated in three dimensions using a completely new design. Its powerful and dynamic silhouette is expressed through the extensive use of curved surfaces, and the coloring of the entire body is reproduced through the division of parts and molding color. The wings are made of pearl-infused light-collecting resin, taking on the challenge of expressing a lifelike feel never before seen.

The chest canopy uses a new technology called "half-mirror plating." This allows the outside to be seen through the inside, but reflects the inside, preventing it from being seen from the outside. The kit includes an aura sword and an aura shot. Scheduled to ship in December.
