On August 30th, the second day of "Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 'ThanXX!'," a large-scale anime song live event currently being held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City), "The Idolmaster Million Live! Million Stars," from the popular "The Idolmaster (Idolmaster)" video game series, made an appearance. This was Million Stars' fifth appearance at Anisama and their first in seven years.
On this day, Machico, who plays Ibuki Tsubasa, Ito Miku, who plays Miku Ito, Aimi, who plays Julia, Tadokoro Azusa, who plays Mogami Shizuka, Suwa Ayaka, who plays Tokugawa Matsuri, and Watanabe Yui, who plays Yokoyama Nao, from Million Stars appeared.
In keeping with this year's Anisama theme, "ThanXX!", the band performed "Thank You!", the theme song for the game "The Idolmaster Million Live!". The members commented, "We sang this song with gratitude in mind!" Next, they performed "Chocho Musubi", the 8th anniversary song for the game "The Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days (Mirishita)", for the first time live. Finally, they sang "Rat A Tat!!!", the opening theme song for the anime "The Idolmaster Million Live!", concluding their first Anisama performance in seven years.
Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year's event will be held from August 29th to 31st, with a total of 50 artists appearing.
