"Sandwichman & Mana Ashida's Hakase-chan " (TV Asahi) is a show in which children with knowledge and talents that rival those of adults give entertaining lessons as " Hakase-chan " (teachers). The two-and-a-half-hour special will be broadcast on August 30th at 6:30 pm, and is titled "We Want to Hear in the Reiwa Era! The Top 20 Showa Era Diva."
The annual summer event, " Hakase-chan" features a special on Showa era pop songs. This time, a number of Hakase-chan will be making their first appearance, including second-grader Sakurako Saito (7), who is obsessed with the rock band "THE ALFEE. " The Hakase-chan average age is 15, will be asked to choose "Who are the Showa era divas we want to hear now in the Reiwa era?" and will present their top 20 songs along with singing videos and rare footage. The Hakase-chan will also comment on the appeal and anecdotes of each singer.
Nakamura Yorara (14 years old), a "Hakase-chan who loves Nakajima Miyuki," explains why Nakajima's classic song "Ito" continues to resonate with people across the ages, resonating with the adults in the studio.
This time, there will be some surprises, with several divas making their first appearance on the list. In between ranking announcements, violinist Taro Hakase will be in the studio to explain some of the great songs of the Showa era. Mariya Takeuchi's "Plastic Love," which has been gaining worldwide attention since the start of the Reiwa era, will reveal the "secret behind why it sounds so stylish."
There will also be a special feature, "Showa Era Famous Songs Medley with Schoolmates." Schoolmates, a familiar group of back-up dancers who graced the stage on Showa-era music shows, will appear, and MC Mana Ashida will cutely sing Matsumoto Iyo's signature song, "Sentimental Journey," surrounded by Schoolmates. Furthermore, Umedani Kokoa (17), also known as "Dr. Misora Hibari Hakase-chan," who has now made her debut as an enka singer, will also appear and sing Showa era classics. Actor Yuki Uchida will appear as a studio guest.
