"Oshi no Ko" to hold first orchestral concert

It has been announced that the first orchestral concert for the anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), "Anime ' Oshi no Ko' Film Orchestra ~The Starry Echoes~," will be held at Mori no Hall 21 (Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture) on December 27th. Iga Takuro, who composed the anime's soundtrack, will be supervising the concert, and the orchestra will perform music from the first and second seasons of the TV anime. Japanese instrument players will also be taking part in a special performance. Takeo Otsuka, the voice actor for Aqua, and Yurie Igoma, the voice actor for Ruby, will serve as hosts.

"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who also wrote " Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, " and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ." It was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024. It tells the story of twin siblings left behind by the sudden death of a genius idol named Ai. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 20 million copies in total.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October 2024. The third season will air in 2026. The live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic.
