New trailer for "Kaiju No. 8" released

Ahead of the broadcast of episode 19, "Wall," of the anime " Kaiju No. 8 ," which is based on the popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto that was serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +," a trailer for the "Bungui Pass Subjugation Operation Arc" has been released on YouTube.

In the 18th episode, which aired on August 23rd, Reno Ichikawa was selected as a suitable candidate for the "most powerful and dangerous" type of monster weapon (Number 6), and Iharu Furuhashi, who is also assigned to the 4th Unit, is shown harboring mixed feelings about the situation. The preview focuses on Iharu's feelings. Reno and Iharu are tasked with defeating a monster that has appeared at Bungui Pass.

"Kaiju No. 8" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in July 2020, with its final episode airing on July 18th. Set in Japan, a monster superpower where monsters mercilessly invade everyday life, the story follows the exploits of protagonist Kafka Hibino, whose body is transformed into a monster by a mysterious creature. It also garnered attention when it was selected as the Grand Prize winner in the Web Manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2021." The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2024. The second season is currently airing every Saturday at 11:00 PM on TV Tokyo.
