"Dandadan" Episode 20 "Go Okarun" Synopsis

The 20th episode of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +," titled "Ganbare Okarun," will be broadcast on August 21st on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS/TBS.

Okarun and Aira end up fighting classical composers hiding in the school music room as part of their training. While Aira gradually gets the hang of it, Okarun is unable to dodge the composers' attacks, which are throwing note bombs. Turbo Granny gives Okarun some advice: try moving your body with a sense of rhythm.

"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of psychics, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, as they confront a succession of mysterious events. The comic has sold over 10 million copies in total. The first season of the anime aired on Super Animeism TURBO from October to December 2024. The second season will be directed by Fuuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora and produced by Science SARU.
