This week's new releases feature information on new comics. Approximately 290 major comics will be released between August 18th and 23rd. Volume 25 of Rumiko Takahashi's latest work, "MAO," which is also being adapted into a TV anime, will be featured.
On August 18th, in addition to the 25th volume of "MAO," other titles to be released include the final 10th volume of "Yashahime: Princess Half- Psychic Squad," a comic adaptation of the anime "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" by Shiina Takashi, who is also the creator of "Zettai Karen Children," the 30th volume of "Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle," which has been adapted into a TV anime, the 5th volume of "Utsuranai desu, " which has the theme of "horror x youth," and the 5th volume of "Shibuya Near Family" by Kumeta Koji, known for works such as "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" and "Katte ni Kaizou."
On August 19th, the releases will include volume 16 of the baseball manga "Captain 2," volume 13 of "Superhuman X" by Sui Ishida , known for the " Tokyo Ghoul " series, volume 13 of "Daily Life at Tadano Technical High School," which was selected as the grand prize winner of the "Everyone's Choice!! Digital Comic Awards 2022," volume 22 of "Draft King," which was adapted into a TV drama, volume 6 of "Dog Thread" by Satoru Noda, known for " Golden Kamuy" and other works, volume 33 of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes ," a popular sci-fi novel by Yoshiki Tanaka, illustrated by Ryu Fujisaki, who is also known for "Engi no Hoshin," volume 9 of " Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku, " based on the original work by Ayano Takeda , known for the Sound! Euphonium! Euphonium," and volume 12 of "Kyoui Toma" by Motoka Murakami, known for "JIN-JIN" and other works.
On August 20th, the 19th volume of "Bakuon!!," which depicts the daily lives of female high school riders, the 25th volume of "Wakakozake," which has been adapted into a TV drama, and the 3rd and 4th volumes of "GTO Paradise Lost Kai," which is a re-edited and expanded version of the "Paradise Lost" arc of the "GTO" series by author Tooru Fujisawa himself, will be released.
On August 22nd, the following items will be available in stores: volume 11 of " The Dekin no Mogura," which has been airing as a TV anime since July; volume 9 of "Long Summer on August 31st," which was selected for the Special Jury Prize at the 4th Magazine Academy Awards; volume 9 of "This Healer is Annoying," which has been adapted into a TV anime; volume 12 of "Skip and Loafer," for which a second season of the TV anime has been announced; volume 8 of the baseball manga "Gurazeni: Major League Arc," volumes 45 and 46 of "Battle Studies," and volume 9 of "Nikaido Hell Golf" by Nobuyuki Fukumoto, known for the "Kaiji" series.
