A special PV for the monster Yoru, who appears in the TV anime "My Status As an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's(My Status As an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's)," based on the light novel by Akai Matsuri from Overlap Bunko, has been released on YouTube. Yoru is a monster of the Black Cat species that the protagonist Oda Akira and his friends encounter in the labyrinth. The PV expresses the charm of Yoru, who is both mysterious and fluffy and cute. Yoru is played by voice actress Kobayashi Sanae.
The PV depicts scenes of Yoru flying through the sky and transforming into a large, fluffy cat. While saying, "Don't compare him to monsters who act on instinct," the video also shows a glimpse of his cat-like side as he reacts to Akira's moving gloves.

The story is about a high school student, Oda Akira, who is summoned to another world along with his classmates. Because he has a low presence, he is supposed to have gained the powers of an ordinary assassin, but his status easily surpasses that of a hero, the strongest profession... After being falsely accused, Akira takes refuge in the depths of a labyrinth, where he meets a beautiful elf girl named Amelia and becomes a true assassin.
The anime will be directed by Nobuyoshi Habara, known for "Fafner in the Fafner in the Azure," and produced by Sunrise. Voice actors Takeo Otsuka and Saku Mizuno will play Akira Oda and Amelia Rose Quartz, respectively. The series will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other networks in October.
