The popular TV Asahi variety show "Ame Talk!" will be broadcasting "Kamen Rider Comedians" from 11:45 PM on August 14th (excluding some regions). This will be the first time the program has aired in eight years since 2017. The show will also delve into the evolution of the Reiwa era riders, which have not been touched upon in the past three episodes.
The cast includes Kamen Rider fan Tsukaji Muga of "Drunk Dragon," Ishii of "Sayaka," Miyashita Kenshitaka of "Miyashita Kusanagi," Arai Yoshiyuki of "Harikens," Ojin Osbourne's Shinomiya Akira, JP, and Shiihashi Justaway, with Nippon Broadcasting System announcer Shingyo Ichiyoshi also taking part, crossing the boundaries of the station. Also appearing as MC guests will be Teruyuki Tsuchida and Rio Uchida, the heroine of "Kamen Rider Drive" (2014-2015).
The day's theme was "This is what the Reiwa Riders are like!!" and featured a "big reveal" of the Reiwa Riders that hadn't been touched on at all in the past three episodes. Shinomiya shared a heartbreaking story about Kamen Rider Zero-One(2019-20), in which the main character is a comedian, that brought him to tears. The entire studio erupted in laughter at the video of the villain, Abdominal Muscle Breakdown Taro (Nakayama Kinniku-kun), who became so popular that he dominated social media trends.
Miyashita also emphasized that there are commonalities between the currently airing "Kamen Rider Gavv" and "Kamen Rider Kuuga" (2001-2001). He also talks about comparisons between the Reiwa Riders and the Heisei and Showa Riders, as well as behind-the-scenes stories that only Rider fans would know.
The program will also feature emotional footage from the 2021 film "Kamen Rider Beyond Generations," which commemorates the series' 50th anniversary and brought tears to the eyes of the Showa generation, with an unexpected surprise at the end.
