The sixth episode of the drama series " DOPE " (TBS, Fridays at 10pm), starring Kaito Takahashi of the popular group "King & Prince" and actor Tomoya Nakamura , aired on August 8th. Towards the end of the episode, the true culprit behind the murder of Jinnai's (Nakamura) wife, Kaori (Iriyama Noriko), was revealed, sparking discussion among viewers.

Jinnai was determined to take revenge on everyone involved in Kaori's death. He learns from Hongo (Sano Kazuma), the head of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Violent Crimes Division, that Kaori was murdered by Tokura (Koike Teppei), a police sergeant in the First Investigative Division. Jinnai was shocked to learn that Tokura, a former colleague and longtime friend, was the real culprit.
Afterwards, Jinnai appeared in front of Tokura and said, "I heard everything from Hongo." Tokura replied, "I see," as if he had understood everything.
"Is that true? You really are..."
Jinnai listened with sad eyes. Tokura pointed his gun at Jinnai without mercy...

The story is based on the novel of the same name (Kadokawa Bunko) by Kizaki Chiaki, who made her debut as a novelist after winning the Grand Prize at the 20th Dengeki Novel Awards for her work "Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens." Set in a near-future Japan where a mysterious new drug called "DOPE" is rampant, the story follows rookie drug enforcement officer Saiki Yuto of the secret Narcotics Control Department's Special Investigation Division (Special Investigation Division) and his trainer Jinnai Teppei as they attempt to solve a mysterious case.
