The sixth and final episode of the NHK drama series "I Want to Die Alone" (General TV, Saturday 10pm), starring actress Haruka Ayase, will be broadcast on August 2nd. The subtitle of the episode is "Love is Written but Read as Troublesome." Narumi (Ayase) begins to pursue Nasuda (Hayato Sano)...
Nasuda gets Narumi's attention by "ignoring" her. It's the same method his parents used on him as a child. Nasuda was neglected. "I felt like I could become a normal kid if I was with you," Nasuda says, explaining why he was attracted to Narumi and confessing his feelings once again.
Meanwhile, Kazuo (Kunimura Jun) has announced that he will sell the house in preparation for the end of his life, causing uproar at his parents' home.
The drama is an unprecedented social comedy about "end-of-life planning," based on the manga of the same name by Kaoru Curryzawa, which has been praised as a "laughable gag manga about end-of-life planning." The script is written by Mika Omori, who wrote the 2015 Asadora drama "Asa ga Kita" and the 2021 taiga drama "Aozora o Tsuke."
