The third episode of the TV drama " Shiawase na Kekkon " (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Sadao Abe , will be broadcast on July 31st.
Lawyer Harada Kotaro (Abe) is suddenly married to his wife Nella ( Takako Matsu) who tells him about the death of his ex-fiancé, Nuse Yuto (Reo Tamaoki), from a fall 15 years ago. At the time, the case was dismissed as an accident, but detective Kurokawa Ryuji (Yosuke Sugino) has launched a new investigation.
Nerla says, "After I met Kotaro, I wanted to start living my life over again. But just as soon as I had hope for the future, what happened 15 years ago came back to haunt me and take Kotaro away from me. I was wrong to wish for happiness." Kotaro decides to protect Nerla to the end.
However, when his fellow lawyer and university classmate Yoshio Usui (Kazushige Komatsu), whom he had secretly asked to investigate the case, reports to Kotaro, he learns that the circumstances at the time were unfavorable to Nerla. Furthermore, when Nerla presses him on whether a lawyer who is supposed to enforce the law to protect the public interest can change his way of life, Kotaro begins to realize that his feelings are wavering.
Kotaro, along with Nella, Leo (Rihito Itagaki), Kou (Takashi Okabe), and Hiroshi (Yasunori Danta) take part in the Suzuki family's annual hot spring trip. Kotaro is called by Hiroshi, who tells him about Nella's background and begs him to "please protect Nella."
Kotaro gradually becomes accustomed to the Suzuki family. Meanwhile, they decide to take wedding photos, but Nella suddenly collapses during the shoot.
As Nella's secret gradually comes to light, tragedy befalls her. Can a husband love his wife's secret? The bond between husband and wife is put to the test.
The script is by Shizuka Oishi. Kotaro, a bachelor, is attracted to Nella, a mysterious high school art teacher, and they suddenly marry, but Nella has a serious secret. Although it is a family drama, it is billed as a "marriage suspense" that questions the love between husband and wife.
