Six stills from the film " Koi ni itaru yamai " starring Kento Nagao and Anna Yamada have been released

On July 30th, stills from the film "Naniwa Danshi's Kento Nagao and actress Anna Yamada, were released, showing the film's "Koi ni itaru yamai and overflowing with love."

The original work is Yuki Shasendo's novel "Koi ni itaru yamai" (Media Works Bunko/KADOKAWA), which has been reprinted more than 30 times and has an introductory video on her book-related TikTok account that has been viewed over 2 million times. The story depicts the awkward yet loyal first love between shy high school boy Miyamine Nozomu (played by Nagao) and class leader Yorikawa Kei (played by Yamada). However, after the suspicious death of a classmate, Miyamine begins to have suspicions about Kei...

Six stills have been released. Scenes such as Kei placing his hand on Miyamine's cheek as if he were looking at a precious treasure, and the scene where they ride their bicycles side by side to school, capture the freshness of the pure yet awkward first love of an ordinary high school student. In stark contrast to Kei's carefree smile surrounded by classmates, there are also scenes of him glaring at Akira Nezuhara (Kotaro Daigo), who attends the same high school, and a tense atmosphere as he stares intently at a female student about to jump off a rooftop.

The film also features Miyamine's serious expression as he confronts detective Irimi (Atsuko Maeda) in the interrogation room, revealing scenes that go beyond simple heart-pounding first love. Miyamine is drawn to the elusive Kei, even as he harbors doubts, asking himself, "Could it be that you killed someone for me?" The final four minutes, which reveal Kei's true feelings, are said to be breathtakingly heartbreaking.
