Kadokawa has announced guidelines for secondary use for four new anime titles that began airing in July. Clips, commentary, and analysis videos of the titles will be made available on YouTube.
The works covered are "The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4," "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT," "What's with these detectives these days," and "See you tomorrow at the food court." If the guidelines are followed, content can use up to four minutes of the anime's footage per episode. For "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT," the limit is two minutes per episode.
If you want to monetize secondary use videos on YouTube, you can use the YouTube MCN "CSP (Creator Support Program)" operated by KADOKAWA, and earn revenue by distributing a portion of the revenue to the production committee (rights holder).
