The fourth episode of the TV drama " DOPE " (TBS, Friday 10pm), starring Kaito Takahashi of the popular group "King & Prince" and actor Tomoya Nakamura , was broadcast on July 25th. The final episode left many viewers saying, "It was so shocking that I was shocked."

Saiki (Takahashi) was asked by Tsubaki Seiji (Oshinari Shugo), the head of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, to keep an eye on Jinnai (Nakamura).
When Tsubaki asked Saiki, "Have you found anything?" Saiki declared that he would stop investigating Jinnai. He told Tsubaki, "If Jinnai is really taking dope, I will arrest him."
However, Tsubaki raised her voice and said, "Don't get too cocky, Saiki. You should just keep quiet and try to figure out what's going on inside the camp."
Meanwhile, Jinnai heads to the home of Tokura (Teppei Koike), a police sergeant at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division. After handing Tokura's 10-year-old daughter a birthday present, Jinnai tells Tokura, "I always feel happy when I come to your house."
Meanwhile, Tokura receives a call informing him of Tsubaki's death.
On social media, comments such as, "No matter how you look at it, Superintendent Tsubaki seemed like the mastermind, so who would have thought he would be killed here! The drama DOPE is too interesting!", "I was shocked to see Tsubaki dead", and "Even Jinnai, as expected, was shaken by the unexpected death of Tsubaki, and I can't wait to see what happens next" were posted.
Some people said, "Director Tsubaki...was someone murdered? I'm starting to think that Koike Teppei might actually be the mastermind," and "Could Tokura, played by Koike Teppei, who behaves the most like a good student, be the real culprit?"
The story is based on the same-titled novel (Kadokawa Bunko) by Kizaki Chiaki, who made her debut as a novelist after winning the grand prize in the 20th Dengeki Novel Prize with "Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens." Set in a near-future Japan where a mysterious new drug called "DOPE" is rampant, Saiki Yuto, a rookie narcotics agent with the secret Special Investigations Division of the Narcotics Control Department, and his trainer Jinnai Teppei attempt to solve a mysterious case.
