Mone Kamishiraishi will appear on the July 25th episode of "Tetsuko's Room"

Actor Mone Kamishiraishi will be appearing on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will air on July 25th at 1pm.

Two years ago, she won the Yomiuri Theater Award for Best Actress at the age of 25, the youngest ever. Last year, she starred in the stage play "Spirited Away," which debuted in Japan in 2022 and was a huge hit. She spent about three months living in London, traveling back and forth between the shows. Her parents even came to visit her. What was life like in London? Kuroyanagi was impressed when she saw the video of her speech in English on the final day.

She loves English, and studied it at Meiji University, graduating last year after eight years. She said there were sleepless nights, worrying that she might not be able to graduate, but once she did, she felt lonely and empty. Her new challenge is "Kanji." A surprise video was shown of the two "princes" who will be performing together on stage, Domoto Koichi and Yoshio Inoue, talking about "About Mone-chan," and there was also a scene where they sang at Kuroyanagi's request.
