The third episode of the TV drama " DOPE " (TBS, Friday 10pm), starring Kaito Takahashi of the popular group "King & Prince" and actor Tomoya Nakamura , was broadcast on July 18th. The "disturbing" role of Seiji Tsubaki, a supervisor of the Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division, played by Shugo Oshinari, attracted attention on social media.

Tsubaki used to work with Jinnai (played by Nakamura) and is wary of the quick-witted Jinnai. He treats the members of the Special Investigation Division who rush to investigate as a nuisance and does not like them.
To investigate Jinnai's past, Saiki (Takahashi) opened the investigation files of the case involving Jinnai's wife Kaori (Iriyama Noriko) with the help of Tsubaki. Tsubaki, who was involved in the investigation at the time, told Saiki, "It's been seven years already. It was April 13th. I still remember it, it was a horrific incident. Jinnai's wife came home from outside and ran into the criminal who had broken into the house with the intention of robbery. He was stabbed repeatedly with a knife. Jinnai is a sensitive person, despite his appearance. After that incident, he became very rough. He lived a life of desperation as if to punish himself, and then quit the police. I was surprised that he became a police officer."
Tsubaki asked Saiki if there had been any recent changes in Jinnai's behavior. "I'd like to keep this a secret, but there are rumors that Jinnai is using dope. Apparently he became a police officer because it's easier to get dope," she replied, asking him to keep an eye on Jinnai.
Meanwhile, First Investigative Division Chief Sergeant Tokura (Koike Teppei) secretly tells Jinnai, "Superintendent Tsubaki is keeping an eye on you."
On social media, people were talking about Oshinari Shugo, saying things like, "Just his presence gives off the smell of evil," "I'm so happy that my beloved Oshinari Shugo really does look like a bad guy," "Just the fact that he's Oshinari Shugo makes me feel like I shouldn't trust him lol," "Oshinari Shugo... just showing up makes him 100% suspicious," and "You have to be careful when Oshinari Shugo shows up! The story is based on the same-titled novel (Kadokawa Bunko) by Kizaki Chiaki, who made her debut as a novelist after winning the grand prize in the 20th Dengeki Novel Prize with "Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens." Set in a near-future Japan where a mysterious new drug called "DOPE" is rampant, Saiki Yuto, a rookie narcotics agent with the secret Special Investigations Division of the Narcotics Control Department, and his trainer Jinnai Teppei attempt to solve a mysterious case.
