The second round of support illustrations for the TV anime "The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi," based on the popular manga by Hirakawa Aya currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan), has been released. The illustrations were created by artists from the magazine and "Sunday Webry" (same publisher), and feature Teijin Ikki drawn by Hata Kenjiro, known for "Hayate the Combat Butler!" and "Tonikaku Kawaii."
Hata commented, "Congratulations on the TV anime adaptation! I look forward to seeing you again on stage at the Sunday Cultural Festival." It was also announced that the non-credit version of the anime's opening video will premiere on YouTube at 9:00 pm on July 16th.
The series has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since December 2021. It is a home-love comedy that depicts the cohabitation of the three Mikado sisters, who are geniuses in the arts, martial arts, and literature, and Yu Ayase, an ordinary person who is below average in all areas.
The anime is directed by Yuito Matsubayashi and produced by PAWORKS. Minami Hinata will voice the main character, Yu Ayayo, and Yurina Amami, Aoi Koga, and Yoshino Aoyama will voice the three sisters. It is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations.
