The second episode of the TV anime " Gachiakuta ", based on the manga by Kei Urana Kei currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), "Yadorimono", will be broadcast on July 13th on the CBC TV/TBS anime slot "Agaru Anime". A new character, Engine, will appear in the second episode. Engine will be played by voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi.
Rudo is falsely accused of murdering his foster father, Regt, and is thrown into the "abyss" where waste and criminals are dumped. While he can barely breathe in the polluted air, he is attacked by a spotted beast born from the garbage and is in dire straits. Then, a man named Engine appears before him.
The series has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2022. Hideyoshi Ando is in charge of graffiti design. Rudo, an orphan boy born in a slum where the descendants of criminals live, makes a living using his extraordinary physical abilities, but one day he is framed for a crime he did not commit and thrown into the "abyss" that even the people of the slums fear... This is the story. The anime will be directed by Fumihiko Suganuma, who has participated in the direction of "SHIROBAKO" and "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK", and will be produced by Bones Films, which has also produced "My Hero Academia".
