It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Magilumiere Co. Ltd.", based on the manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+", will be broadcast in 2026. A teaser visual has been released depicting the main character, Sakuragi Kana, facing forward with a determined expression and a broom in hand. The second season will depict Kana's achievements as a working adult and a magical girl, more so than in the first season.
"Magilumiere Co. Ltd." is a work x magical girl action manga written by Iwata Yukika and illustrated by Aoki Yutaka. Set in a world where natural disasters known as "kaii" exist and magical girls who exterminate them are recognized as a coveted profession, the story follows the protagonist Sakuragi Kana, who joins the venture company Magilumiere Co. Ltd. as a new graduate and struggles as a working adult and a magical girl. It has been a hot topic, ranking third in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022".
The first season of the TV anime was broadcast on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)" from October to December 2024.
