TV Tokyo will broadcast "Magical Girl Yamada" as the third installment of the fake documentary series "TXQ FICTION" created by TV Tokyo's Tokio Omori from midnight on July 14th, 21st, and 28th.
The first installment, "Looking for the Isinagakikue," and the second installment, "Apologies to the Iinuma Family," were aired last year and became a hot topic on social media. The latest installment was planned to coincide with the theme of the "Fear" exhibition, which will open in Shibuya, Tokyo on July 18.
The production team is almost the same as the previous two films. The director is Terauchi Kotaro, who has worked on "Psychic Master Tape," and in addition to Omori, Minamiguchi Daichi, who has worked on "Fake Documentary Q," and Kondo Ryota, who has worked on "Missing Child Videotape," will participate as producers. The opening theme will be performed by Kitani Tatsuya Kitani , who is also known for his hit songs such as "Ao no Sumika," the opening theme for the anime " Jujutsu Kaisen Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu/ Shibuya Incident ."
To coincide with the broadcast, "Looking for Isinagakikue" and "Apologies to the Iinuma Family" will be streamed free of charge on TVer for a limited period of two months starting July 11th.
Omori commented, "Once you recognize fear, there's no going back." Director Terauchi said, "Fear is not an emotion, but a certainty that takes root in the unconscious. Try listening carefully to that quiet murmur." Minaguchi commented, "Sorry for the strange title. But I've finished my personal favorite. I'd like to apologize now. I'm sorry." Kondo commented, "The tricky thing about fear is that you have to face it in order to escape it."
