The 15th episode of the mini-anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End of Frieren", based on the manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan), titled "High-Speed Magic", has been released on YouTube. "●●'s Magic" is an original scenario mini-anime that depicts the official deformed characters Frieren and friends designed by illustrator Mebachi trying out various magic spells on their journey.
In episode 15, Denken, Richter, and Laofen made their first appearance in a mini-anime. The mini-anime is themed on Laofen's specialty magic, Erfasen (high-speed magic), and shows Denken and Laofen visiting Richter's magic shop for no particular reason.
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe Abe, which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in April 2020. Frieren is a magician in the hero's party who defeated the Demon King. She is an elf and has a long lifespan, but after experiencing the death of a companion, she sets out on a journey to "get to know people". It was selected for the Manga Taisho 2021, the 25th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize Newcomer Award, the 69th (2023) Shogakukan Manga Award, and the 48th Kodansha Manga Award in the boys' category. The comic has sold over 24 million copies in total.
The anime is directed by Keiichiro Saito , known for " Bocchi the Rock! ", and produced by Madhouse. The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)" from September 2023 to March 2024. The second season will air on Nippon Television from January 2026.
