It has been announced that the popular group "King & Prince" will be the charity partner for "24 Hour TV 48 - Love Saves the Earth", which will be broadcast on the Nippon Television Network on August 30 and 31. King & Prince served as the charity personalities in the 2021 broadcast, and this time, Kaito Takahashi and Ren Nagase will empathize with the thoughts of various people from a young perspective.
Takahashi will present a dance show with dancers of various personalities as a borderless live show "We are the No border!!!" with the theme of "Dancing Around the World." Nagase will be working with children who have never seen or heard fireworks before, and will be taking on the challenge of creating an original fireworks display that incorporates strong lights and vibrations.
Takahashi commented, "In my work, I always cherish the thoughts of 'I hope I can make someone happy' and 'I hope I can save just one person.' In line with my belief, I believe that 24 Hour Television is a program that is sure to reach someone. Now that I have the opportunity to be involved as a charity partner, I hope that by working enthusiastically and with all my might, I can make just one person happy and save them."
Nagase said with confidence, "Our work is supported by many people. Through 24 Hour Television, I will be there for the people I meet, accepting what I can and cannot do, and doing my best to create something together with them. Seeing this will not only make someone smile, but it may also give them courage and give them the power to give back. I would like to become a charity partner that can convey our thoughts to many people, including the younger generation, through us."
Regarding their appearance on 24-Hour TV, Takahashi and Nagase said, "This will be King & Prince's first appearance on 24-Hour TV since 2021. We are meeting many of our charity partners for the first time, but we have heard that they are all participating in the project with great passion. As the theme of this year's program is 'Tell me about yourself,' we will do our best to do what we can to spend time getting to know each other and our feelings and deepening our understanding. We hope you will all support us."
The theme of this year's 24-Hour TV is "Tell me about yourself," and the main venue will be the Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumida-ku, Tokyo). The hosts will be Shinya Ueda, Shinichi Hatori, and announcer Asami Miura. Charity partners will be King & Prince, Jun Shison, Kazushige Nagashima, Minami Hamabe, Kiyoshi Hikawa, and Yasuko. The show will air from 6:30pm on August 30th to 8:54pm on the 31st.
