The synopsis for the July 6th episode of the popular anime "Sazae-san" (Fuji TV, Sundays at 6:30 pm) has been released.
◇ "Reasons for refusal"
On a weekday, Fune and Tarao go to the department store, leaving Sazae at home alone. It's almost lunchtime, so she prepares lunch, when Okaru, her neighbor, calls out to her from across the fence. She says that a visitor has come and ordered sushi, but the visitor has left for urgent business, so she wants Sazae to eat the sushi she ordered. Sazae gladly accepts, and looks forward to the sushi arriving.
◇ "People dislike bonito"
Wakame heard a story on a TV talk show that "siblings start to look alike and do similar things as they get older." The next day, Wakame almost gets late to school and forgets her homework, and her friend says to her, "You're starting to look like your brother, aren't you?" Wakame becomes worried that in the future, she too will be yelled at by Namihei and made to stand in the hallway, just like Katsuo.
◇ "Tara-chan's picture letter"
Sazae receives a picture postcard from a friend. The friend is a farmer and has beautifully drawn carrots and pumpkins, which Tarao is impressed by. Tarao is invited to the garden by Katsuo, who sprays a spider web with mist and shows him how it sparkles. Moved by its beauty, Tarao immediately tries to draw a sparkling spider web on the picture postcard.
*Incidentally, on June 29th, Sazae showed "scissors" in the rock-paper-scissors game. She hasn't shown "paper" for nine weeks in a row.
