Tatsuya Midorikawa is a reporter at the editorial department of the Kochi Shimpo newspaper. He is a member of the social affairs department. He is very strict with the freelance reporters Nobu, Tokairin, and Iwashimizu.
In the 14th week, Nobu, who joined the Kochi Shimpo newspaper as its first female reporter since the war, is overwhelmed when she is sent to the scene to report on her first day.
From the next day, he writes an article about his findings at the black market, but Tokairin ( Kenjiro Tsuda) rejects it many times, but finally, his first article is decided to be published in the morning edition. Meanwhile, Nobu becomes an editor for the evening edition... Meanwhile, Taka (Takumi Kitamura) and Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) sell scrap goods that they have collected.
One day, Taka finds an American magazine amongst the junk and is excited by the cutting edge designs he sees...and so the story unfolds.
