The July drama series starts this week. There is a wide variety of elaborate dramas in the lineup this season, but one of the points to note is who is starring in them. This time, we have compiled the main cast of the commercial TV dramas that will be broadcast in the "prime time" from 7 pm to 10 pm, along with their agencies.
◇Nippon Television Network
There are three primetime dramas on Nippon Television. "DOCTOR PRICE" (Produced by Yomiuri Television, Sundays at 10:30pm) starts on July 6th and stars Takanori Iwata(LDH). "Chihayafuru -Meguri-" (Wednesdays at 10pm) starts on the 9th and stars Ami Touma(Dine & Indie), while the third instalment of the popular series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (Saturdays at 10pm) starring Sakurai Sho (STARTO ENTERTAINMENT) will begin airing on the 12th.
◇TV Asahi
There are four primetime dramas on TV Asahi. "Good evening, this is the Asayama family" (ABC TV, Sunday 10:15pm) starts on the 6th, co-starring Anne Nakamura (UNiQUE) and Yukiyoshi Ozawa (TOM company), and "The Kidnapping Day " (Tuesday 9pm) starts on the 8th, starring Takumi Saito (Blue Bear House).
The much talked about " The Great Chase: Metropolitan Police Department SSBC Violent Crimes Unit " (Wednesdays 9pm), starring Nao Omori(Apache), Masaki Aiba (STARTO ENTERTAINMENT), and Nao Matsushita (JI Promotion), will start on the 9th. " Shiawase na Kekkon " (Thursdays 9pm), starring Sadao Abe (Otona Keikaku), will start airing from the 17th.
◇TBS affiliates
There are three primetime drama series on TBS. " First Love DOGs " (Tuesdays 10pm), starring Kiyohara Kaya (Amuse), will start on July 1st, the earliest primetime drama this season. " DOPE " (Fridays 10pm), starring Takahashi Kaito (STARTO ENTERTAINMENT) and Tomoya Nakamura (Top Coat), will begin airing on the 4th. Sunday Theatre " The 19th medical record " (Sundays 9pm), starring Jun Matsumoto (MJC Inc.), will begin airing on the 13th.
◇TV Tokyo affiliates
The primetime serial drama on TV Tokyo is the drama 9 " Noh Mask Prosecutor" (Fridays at 9pm) which will start on July 11th. It is a solid legal mystery starring Takaya Kamikawa(Zero Light Years).
◇Fuji Television Network
Fuji TV will have the most primetime drama series of any commercial broadcaster with five. Starting on the 7th, the "Getsuku" drama "Tomorrow Will Be a Better Day" (Mondays 9pm) will star Haruka Fukuhara(Ken-On). "The Last Appraiser " (Wednesdays 10pm) starring Fujiki Naoto (Cube) will begin airing on the 9th. Starting on the 10th, the Thursday Drama " School of love. " (Thursdays 10pm) starring Fumino Kimura (Tristone Entertainment) will begin airing.
" We Still Don't Know the School Rules of That Planet" (Kantele production, Mondays at 10pm), which starts on the 14th, is the first lead role for Hayato Isomura(BLUE LABEL) in a commercial TV drama series. "Stingers" (Tuesdays at 9pm), which starts on the 22nd, is the first lead role for Aoi Morikawa(Stardust Promotion) in a primetime drama series.
