A new visual for the film version of the 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "You and Idol Pretty Cure," titled "You and Idol Pretty Cure The Movie: Sorry to Keep You Waiting! A Sparkling Live for You!" has been released.
The setting of the movie is a mysterious island surrounded by the sea, Aiai Island, where Uta and her friends are invited by the coral fairy Tot to perform at the Super Miracle Idol Festival, the "universe's number one" idol event that takes place once every 10 years. A large venue on Aiai Island is filled with a large gathering of various idols, including robots and animals. Suddenly, a mysterious monster appears, putting Aiai Island and the world in danger, and Uta and her friends are sent back to the past on Aiai Island. Terra, a red-haired girl who "hates idols," saves them from this predicament.
In the visual showing Uta and her friends being sucked into Ai Ai Island, they are wearing the key item, the Miracle Ai Ai Bracelet, on their wrists.
Visuals of the Idol PreCure girls happily exploring the area around the festival site after arriving on Aiai Island have also been released. There are food stalls selling B-grade gourmet food and cheering goods, and you can also see the original character Totto, who serves as the Super Miracle Idol Festival organizing committee chairman.
A visual was also released depicting Terra singing and dancing to a beautiful starry sky. The visual shows Terra, who hates idols, being entranced by the sight.
The motif of "You and Idol Pretty Cure" is "idols," and the theme is "Because of you, I can shine and become stronger!". The legendary saviors, Idol Precure, sing, dance, and give "fan service" for "you," the people they love, the people they care about, the people who support them, the people next to them, and the people in front of them, and your presence makes Idol Precure shine brighter and stronger. It airs every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi.
The movie version is also attracting attention because it will feature PreCure characters from the 20th film, "Soaring Sky! Pretty Cure," and the 21st film, "Wonderful PreCure!"
