Midori takes the first step towards creating the dictionary after hearing Majime's (Noda) words, but when she learns from Miyamoto (Yamoto Yuma) of a paper company that they are making paper specifically for "Odo Kai," she is overwhelmed by the scale of the dictionary creation.
Meanwhile, Midori feels something is off about the definition of "love." With the support of Majime and Matsumoto-sensei (Kyōhei Shibata), she struggles to come up with her own definition of "love," when she receives an email from her part-time worker, Tendo (Oshiro Maeda).
The drama is based on Shion Miura's bestselling novel, and depicts the passion of people working on dictionaries from the perspective of Midori Kishibe, a young editorial staff member who has been transferred to the dictionary editorial department. Noda plays the protagonist of the novel, Mitsuya Majime, the head of the dictionary editorial department who is an extremely earnest person. The drama has been broadcast on terrestrial TV since June 17th in the "Drama 10" slot.
