It has been announced that a new TV special, "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - The Stairs to Adulthood", will be produced for the anime "Aka Akasaka-sama: Love Is War", based on the popular romantic comedy manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) by Aka Akasaka. Key visuals featuring Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane have also been released.
"Kaguya-sama: Love is War" is set in Shuchiin Academy, a school for gifted students, and depicts how Kaguya Shinomiya, vice president of the student council, and Miyuki Shirogane, president of the student council, who are proud and believe that "if they confess first, they will lose," try to strategize how to get the other person to confess. It was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" from May 2015 to November 2022.
